Miss Carol Ann Kirkpatrick 23, of Terre Haute, sister of former Attica High Principle Richard Kirkpatrick, died Tuesday (Jan. 5, 1971) at St. Anthony's Hospital in Terre Haute. She had undergone brain surgery two months ago, had been released from the hospital, and readmitted shortly before her death. Surviving are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Kirkpatrick, Terre Haute; her brother, Richard L., Terre Haute, a grandmother, Mrs. Fred Ellis, Seeleyville, Ill. She attended school in Terre Haute, graduated from Indiana State University in 1969 and taught school in Indianapolis until the time of her illness. Friends may call at Callahan Funeral Home in Terre Haute. Funeral services will be held there at 11 a.m. Friday, with burial in Roselawn Cemetery at Terre Haute. - jlr
